February 26,2008 Moving Ahead

There’a a certain way of moving ahead…We all do it differently – like a jet, like a freight, like a crab.  I’m studying different ways to move myself ahead.  I’m not only looking at my primary areas, as a coach and as an author.  I’m also learning how to think in terms of joint ventures and at different forms of promotion, like being on the (possibly internet) radio.

I’m also looking for people who would be happy to sell my books for a good piece of the action.  Everything I do is consistent with my stand for an environmentally sustainable, socially just and spiritually fulfilling world.

December 17, 2007 The Difference a Day Makes

My newest grandson is almost 3 months old.  To him a day is more than 1% of his life.  He learns more in one day than we do in maybe a year.  He learns thorugh senses that we have bveen grown to mostly ignore, bypass or unlearn.  And to a large extent that will continue perhaps for several years.

Not only does he learn to be human, he also learns to be American and increasingly he learns how he fits in, how to interpret, how to get what he wants (very close to being born with that) -  But let’s put Cameron aside.

Our tendency is to lump days together, noting only minor differences.  We only pay attention to what we consider to be major events.– Songs tell us, What a Difference a Day Makes, but tha’ts usually a specific day.  We quickly get used to the mundane – and most of life is “the mundane.”  So I assert that that is where the action is, that is where the juice is.

A commitment is only lived when it is “the mundane” — Goals are reached when the reaching becoms mundane, with periodic non-mundane-stones, noticeable moments.  When we eat an orange, we throw away the mundane peel, only using it in certain recipes that call for using the zest.

November 2, 2007 Awhereness

Just a typical low life pun. I’ve fixed on a marketing niche for my coaching.  I’m orienting my marketing to professionals – which is a pretty broad area…and when I think of it as “not amateurs” it doesn’t leave out anyone – really. (Diamond adds “really” to almost everything  so that we know she’s telling the truth — sometimes “for real”).  Anyhow, I’m re-thinking, on the verge of recreating, my website…mostly my main page and my offerings.

Today’s meditation focuses my awareness on the divine presence IAM as the source and substance of all my good.  This is the same ‘message’ as The Secret – because there is only one truth…which needs to be simple enough for anyone to get and so complex that we can all spend our lives on it. Meditation really keys my creativity.  I was clearly empowered yesterday, not only in the meditation, but in my commitment to doing it – Thought triggers emotion and action triggers results

October 20th Leaving Tomorrow

Tomorrow is our 40th wedding anniversary.  I muse about the peculiarity of time, the simultaneity of forever and that long??  I don’t think of  myself in emotional terms.  I smile a lot, but I don’t think, “I’m happy.” Truth is, I’ve never been happier – It’s a legacy I wish for my children. 

I know we’ve created this and continue to create it, certainly it’s not luck or circumstances.  If circumstances affected emotions, we’d be in very different straits.  I haven’t thought of this before, but we must both be the delightful beneficiaries of the Law of Attraction.  There’s no way either of us take it for granted.

August 9th, 2007 Creating the future

I am creating a new business venture with a long-time, good friend.

We have an environmentally desireable product – child-safe that does almost all your kitchen and bathroom cleaning — plus other cleaning – and will sell retail I think for less than 1/2 of products like F*ntastik…

And on my way to meet with my friend and potential partner – I could envision a marketing program.  It will come with an environmentally safe resale container – and I saw “you pay less for recycling your original container”   and then a display next to it:  And if you do your shopping with one of these bags – ”Green” bags with the logo on it… then you’ll pay even less… Completely consistent with our mission:  To Inspire and empower us to live fulfilled lives in harmony with Earth

You’d buy and spread the word.

july 12 – The Future

Sounds funny – I’m less interested in creating a poem, a story, a drawing, I’m more aware of and interested increating the future.  That’s a flip for me – coming to know that we always do, but are not aware of it.

The future always seemed to just happen…  The plans I made in the past show up in today’s circumstances, in to-do lists  in my email, etc.

But I’ve rarely thought about it as an act of very conscious creation.  Because, while I reasoned the existence of the Law of Attraction, I never understood it and never saw it as an act of conscious creation.  Now I am training myself to think of it constantly.
